Exceptional mid 16th century English Henry VIII / Elizabethan carved oak boarded plank chest. The front having beautiful carved geometric motifs. The sides have very nice early “V” cuts to form the feet. Chests of this age are very difficult to find outside of museums or private collections. Make this stunning chest a center piece to any room. It would look great at the foot of a bed or behind a couch in the living room. Superb patina!
