Antique 17th century French Carved Architectural Salvaged Limestone Face Head Fragment


An exquisite 17th century French carved limestone fragment depicting a man’s face with a beard. This unique and highly decorative piece was salvaged from a castle in France that underwent renovations. The piece is accompanied by a custom made black metal display stand.

Dimensions: 11 inches high, 6 1/8 inches wide / long and 5 inches deep with stand. 7 inches high, 6 1/8 inches wide / long and 4 1/4 inches deep just the limestone fragment.

Condition: This piece is antique and has the usual wear associated with its age. It has dents, nicks, chips, scratches, stains, and mars associated with age. See pictures as they are a part of the condition report!
