Antique Figural Portrait of Woman, Oil on Canvas Painting, A.J Buxton
A beautiful and well executed antique 19th century portrait painting of a young lady by A.J Buxton. A.J Buxton is a listed painter in the famous French Benezit dictionary of Painters and sculptors. He specialized in portrait paintings and had an exposition at Suffolk Street in London, England from 1827 to 1844.
This painting is extraordinary to look at and will be the focal point to any room! A very nicely done painting!

Dimensions: 21 3/4 inches high, 18 inches wide / long and 1 3/4 inches deep with frame. Without frame the painting measures: 16 1/4 inches high and 12.5 inches wide.
Condition: Wear consistent with age and use. The painting has surface wear. It might benefit from the removal of the old varnish and an application of new varnish, but we personally like it as it is. Very faintly signed on the lower left side. Frame is not original to the painting and is newer. See pictures as they are a part of the condition report!
