Stunning pair of antique 19th century French carved oak Louis XIII style hunt game bird panels. Truly exquisite pieces of art and both are masterpieces in their own right. Both panels feature game birds feeding. One of the panels features a game bird in situ with a fish in its beak and the other panel features a bird in the wild with its foot on a snake / worm (the head is missing so it seems to have been bitten off or has already been eaten!)
These panels will be the focal center to any room in which they are displayed, either hung exactly as they are or incorporated in some way. These beautiful architectural panels were salvaged from an antique French Louis XIII style hunting sideboard.
Come take a look at this wonderful set of panels in person at our historic showroom located at 137 Stockton St., Hightstown, NJ 08520!
