A very fine antique French carved wooden chandelier in the Baroque Louis XIV style with six square arm sections featuring elaborate candle cups and a graceful acanthus leaf on their underside, each arm topped with a fabulous ivory-colored drip beeswax candle socket covers (covers are new replacements in beeswax); France, circa 1920. This stunning chandelier is an elegant way to add the ambiance of antique lighting to any room! Wonderfully hand-carved, the chandelier has a very dark ebonized look to it with nuanced areas where a warm lighter red shows through. Absolutely fantastic, this chandelier exudes the classical French Louis XIV style with just a touch of the Baroque flair for an intriguing, old-world look!
