Pair 19th c. French Carved Oak Wood Lion Corbels Bookends Brackets


Here we have a beautiful pair of antique 19th century French Louis XIII / Hunt style architectural salvaged carved oak corbels / brackets that originally belonged as supports to the top part of a cabinet. A real great pair of decorative corbels that would also serve very nicely as a pair of bookends or anywhere you would like to display these terrific carved lions! Both having a very nice patina.

Dimensions: 12 1/4″ high, 15 3/8″ wide / long and 3 3/4″ deep.

Condition: Wear consistent with age and use. One of the lions has an age warp / bending to top, both have splits and some old fills to split areas. See pictures as they are a part of the condition report! A very beautiful pair with a beautiful patina!
